DEATH OF ENGINE-DRIVER
FROM INJURIES RECEIVED IN RAILWAY ACCIDENT (United Press Association! TAIHAPE, 25th February. An engine driver, Albert Ernest Rowley, married, aged 36. died in the Taihape Hospital early this morning from injuries received in a railway accident near Hunterville last Saturday. He was on the tender of the engine trimming coal and is believed to have been struck by an overhead bridge. He was picked up unconscious on the track and died without regaining consciousness.
