The weather was dull and the course excellent. Won by a head; two and a half lengths. Time, 3.13. Elstow Handicap, of £250; six fur- , longs.—4-4 Mintlaw. 8.10 (McKenzie), i 1; 3-3 Kaspian, 8.4 (Evans), 2; 1-2 Verit-' able, 8.10 (McTavish), 3.
