The Noojee township that was wiped out by bush fires last month has t#.-n flooded by heavy rain and homeless residents who had been living in tents had a struggle to save their few belongings from being swept away in the flooded Latrobe river. Working waist deep in water police and volunteer helpers saved what they Could of tents, clothes and other propetry.
