N.C.O. CAMP AT KAITERITER!

MARLBOROUGH COLLEGE CADETS I From Our Own Correspondent? A contingent of cadets, consisting of seventeen N.C.O.’s from the Marlborough College. Blenheim, are in camp at Kaiteriteri. where they are undergoing a six day’s instructional course, with the object of preparing them as future instructors. Captain M. E. Johnson M.C., N.Z.S.C., is Officer in Command, and associated with him are Sergeant-Major Morgan and Sergeant Wilson N.Z.P.S. The syllabus of instruction includes rifle and physical training, also specialist training, embracing signalling and topography. Boxing lessons and compulsory swimming parades will form a part of the course. On Sunday a church parade was held at the camp, the service being conducted by the Rev. P. Kirkham, of St Thomas’s Church. Molueka. A lecture in First Aid will be given to the cadets by Dr. A. R. Green, during the week. The instructional course wfill terminate on Saturday next. when tha ccdets will return to Blenheim.
