HIGHER TAXES IN JAPAN fU.P.A. B.v Electric Telegraph —Cop? right, TOKIO, 28th January. The Finance Ministry is submitting a schedule of increased taxation to meet a £11,800,000 supplementary military Budget.
The rate of profit on commodities is substantially raised. Fresh revenue is to be obtained from new buildings above a certain value, also expensive dinners partaken at restaurants.
