“WINGS OVER AFRICA”

DRAMA OF GREED, TREACHERY AND ADVENTURE Authenticity is an interesting feature of “Wings Over Africa,” in-so-far that many of the African scenes were actually “shot” in that country. Joan Gardner and lan Colin play the leading roles in a plot that centres around an expedition of three men and a woman to Africa to locate a hidden treasure which they agree to share. The drama gradually mounts in intensity as the story reveals the hardships the party encounter before reaching their

’ objective and then gathers pace until I the climax which comes with the end of t\tfo members '6f the little band who meet their death because of greed and treachery. lan Colin plays the part of a young explorer, whilst Joan Gardner again reveals her ability as an actress in the part of a girl who goes into Africa with the expedition. Other popular names in this outstanding cast include James Harcourt, James Carew. James Craven and Alan Napier. The ;amous continental director, Ladislaus Vajda. directed this initial production from the Premier-Stafford Production company. This company will soon be a major competitor in the production field if it continues to keep up such a high standard of entertain- ! ment value as that shown by “Wings ! Over Africa.”
