According to the “Daily Mail,” the recommendations to housewives to get in a little extra food for storage against emergencies made by Sir Auckland Geddes yesterday, does not express the Government’s view, which is “Don’t hoard. It is not necessary.” A member of the food defence plans committee said that Sir Auckland Geddes was merely voicing his personal views.
