INCREASED EXPENDITURE fU.P.A —By Electric Telegraph— Conyrightl PARIS, 15th January. The Minister of Air (M. Guy La Cbambre) announced that the 1938" Bud get of l,100.0vX),000 francs for the purchase of general Air Force equipment would he increased by 375.000,000 francs for 1939-40. He said that the 1938 plan providin'' for the building of 2500 war planes over three years after the events of last September.
