Mr Samuel Riddle, owner of the famous racehorse Man o’War, hfcs announced that he refused an offer of 1.000.000 dollars for the racehorse from Mr Louis B. Mayer, cinema producer. The announcement caused surprise, since Man o War is 22. and his stud value has been reduced. Mr Mayer, who has recently undertaken thoroughbred racing, declined to comment.
