After many adventures and perils the scene-shifter comes to a wharf, where a speedboat is being prepared for a run With the gang close on his heels George speeds across the water in a desperate race to reach Darling Point, where he will sign for the fortune. One of the highlights of the film is aj scene in which Wallace and Valli appear as drunks in a bar, with three equally intoxicated singers at a nearby table joining in for a chorus.
