BARQUENTINE Florence C. Robinson, leaving Gloucester, Massachusetts, for the South Seas, with an amateur crew. Her skipper, Captain Sterling Hayden, is only 22 years old. When their 7700 mile cruise to Tahiti is over, the boat will be converted into a copra-drogher and trader.
