MISS ZONA GALE BREESE UPA-Ht Electne I*l fafNi.fi Goornctitl CHICAGO, 28th December. The death is announced of the authoress and playwright Zona Galt Breese. aged 64. One of her plays, 1 "Miss Lulu Bett,” was awarded tht Pulitzer Prize. ARBITRATION COURT JUDGE MELBOURNE. 29th December. The death occurred to-day of Mr George James Dethbridge, Chief Judge of the Commonwealth Arbitration , Court. He was also chairman of the Royal Commission on doctors’ fees and the national insurance scheme which 1 has already been affected by the deaths of two barristers in the Kyeema air 1 crash last October. FAMOUS GOLFER’S DEATH (Received 30th December. 9 40 a.m A LONDON. 29th December J The death has occurred of Mr Ormcs , Bristowe. aged 43 years, as the result of heart failure. He was a former international golfer and represented Britain against the United States in 1924. He was the holder of many course records. He was also a member t f the London Stock Exchange.
