MUTTON AND LAMB
BETTER SUPPLIES TO BRITAIN WELLINGTON. 21st December. Commenting on the cabled statement regarding the regulation t f the increased imports of mutton and lamb into Britain as from 15th January, the Minister of Marketing (the Hon. W. Nash) said to-day that the procedure referred to had been the subject of communication between the United Kingdom and the New Zealand Governments for some time. "1 hope that the extension of the functions of the Beef Council to cover mutton and lamb will lead to better atid more regular supplies to the United Kingdom,” said Mr Nash.
