A large and enthusiastic crowd of skaters attended the rink in the Y.M.C.A. Hall on Saturday night, and! showed their appreciation of the art! displayed in the demonstration of ad- j vanced skating given by Miss Elizabeth I Benge, of Wellington, and Mr Reg / Phelps. Many novelty events were held and all present were keen com- 1 petitors. A skating carnival is to be held on Wednesday, 21st December, and particulars are advertised in this issue. I
