WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
NGATIMOTI MEETING This year's final meeting of the Ngatimoti Women’s Institute had a large attendance of members, presided over by Mrs S. Llewellin. The motto for December was, ‘‘Try to Spread a Little Sunhsine,” and the roll call, "The meeting I have most enjoyed during the year.” A table competition, homemade Christmas gift, was won by Mrs Stratford (set of hairpin worked toilet mats) with Miss M. Beatson (Lavender |, lady) second. The delicious afternoon j tea with strawberries and cream served 1 by the hostesses. Mesdames S. Llewellin and Mtichell. was much enjoyed, j. Arrangements were made to hold the Institute’s annual dance on 11th Jan- ' uary. The president closed the meet 1 #4 with seasonal greetings to all and j thanks for their help during the past i: twelve months when many pleasant i i afternoons had been spent. J
