ANNUAL FESTIVAL TO-MORROW j To-morrow (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. the i j annual festival will be held by the . ■ Auckland Point School. Father Christ- ! mas has announced his intention of ■ being present to distribute the toys to !' over 185 tiny tots who on arrival will be welcomed with the primers giving a demonstration of their singing. After- - 1; noon teas will be served in the classrooms by girl pupils, specially attired for the occasion. Items by the pupils in physical drill and folk dancing will ,! be given. All classrooms will be open . for inspection, and pupils’ work will be Jon exhibition. This should provide an , interesting feature. The various stalls , 1 will be as follows: Produce, sweets, j cake, ice cream and soft drinks. Every- , body is cordially invited and a pleasant l' afternoon is assured. A considerable j amount of work has been the lot of the 1 , combined committees to make the func--1 tion a success. ■I
