V. P. BOOT’S VISIT TO AUSTRALIA I United l*n*B* Association] WELLINGTON. This Day. Permission was granted to V. P. Boot, of Christchurch, by the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association last night, to compete in New ! South Wales in February at the invitation of the New South Wales Amateur Athletic Association, subject to his obtaining leave and to the consent of the i Canterbury centre. Boot broke the Empire Games halfmile record in Sydney last February.
