Manifold and iced by Mrs G. M. Smith. At this juncture Mrs Tweedy wished all present seasonal greetings, which were heartily reciprocated. COMPETITIONS In the competitions for members, results were as follows: Sweet peas, Mrs Parkinson 1, Mrs A. Richards 2. Jar of lemon honey: Mrs Richards 1, Mrs J. Thomson 2. Ihe judging was kindly done by Mrs Gustabei, of Nelson. An iced and decorated cake was won by Mrs Wallace, the mystery parcel by .Mi's Thomson, and the cushion bv Mrs F. Talbot. Ibe prize for the "popular name” competition, went to Mrs bilke. A play reading, "Glass Houses," was thoroughly enjoyed, also the vocal solos, "Star of Bethlehem” and "My Task", excellently rendered by Mrs J. Boyce. Members taking part in the pluv were Mesdames Thomas, Tweedy, Jones, Huf tOx. ami Langley. Accompaniments for the singing were played by Mrs W. M. Thomas. A very enjoyable afternoon was brought to a close with the singing of the Naticual Anthem.
