ERROR IN AWARD

REQUEST TO RECTIFY [United Preßß Association! WELLINGTON, This Day. A request that the Court of Arbitration should rectify the error in the Wellington aerated workers’ award made by the late Second Court was made to-day by Mr J. H. Collins, who told the Court that the adult wage rate had been omitted from the award. There was a body of men, he said, not covered by the award. Mr Justice O’Regan said he was afraid the Court could not remedy the error made by another Court. Mr Collins said the award expired in June. Mr Mountjoy asked the Court not to make any alteration till the employers had considered the matter. Mr O'Regan asked the parties to see him in chambers.
