AIR RAID SHELTERS
TO BE BUILT UNDERGROUND BLOCKHOUSE ROUND PARIS [U.RA.— By Electric Telegraph—CoDvrurht PARIS, 7th December. The municipality has decided to construct eleven huge underground air raid shelters, virtually a blockhouse round Paris, at a cost of £860,000, accommodating a total of hundreds of thousands. For instance one shelter will hold 90,000 and the others 17,000 to 20,000.
