TOUR ABROAD
NEW ZEALAND BOWLERS NOMINATIONS INVITED la a circular lo bowling club secre-j taries inviting nominations for the party of New Zealand bowlers to tour Great I Britain and Canada next year, the I executive of the New Zealand Bowling Association states that some difficulty has been experienced in arranging suitable transport and accommodation, and the party is limited to 40 persons, including women. In the event of a greater number of nominations being received a ballot will be conducted to reduce the number to 40. The itinerary provides for the partyleaving New Zealand by the Awatea on 22nd March, leaving Sydney by the Moolton on 29th March, and travelling via Suez to London. A stay of 10 weeks will be made in Great Britain, divided as follows: Five weeks in England, three weeks in Scotland, and one week eacn in Ireland and Wales. The party will then embark in the Duchess of Bedford j at Liverpool on 21st July and spend approximately five w-eeks in Canada. After visiting San Francisco and Los Angeles they will leave for New Zealand by the Monterey on 13th September.
