FOREMAN’S REPORT
The foieman, Mr W. G. Anderson, submilted the following report: Institute Hill: The steps and the hand j rail have been repaired and a new door , opening from the exit on the south side ; 1 Concrete kerbing: Concrete kerbing in King Edward street Ims been completed excepting two or three chains which cannot l»e completed until the blue gum tiees have been cut down. Two chains o* kerbing have been laid down at the erner of Tudor street and High street. | also a new sump and concrete kerbing High street corn, t,* and the drain moved back accordingly. Tudor street: This street has been partly formed and metal spread on it. Twenty-five loin concrete pipes have been laid down in the drain and fillings have been carted to cover it. Grader: The grader lias worked the Kohatu main highway, Queen Victoria, Whakarewa. I’ah. Atkin and 800 l streets. Fences: Fences have been moved back i.i King Edward street. Mr S. Cate s corner: Mr S. Gate's shop oi the corner of King Edward street and Queen Victoria street has been removed and the corner cleaned up. Fire pipes: The fire pipes have been pumped out and reported in good order. Memorial gate? : A beginning has been j made on the erection of the Memorial j Gates at the Cricket Ground. j
