Denouncing Poland’s treatment of her Ukrainian minority, numbering between 5.000.000 and 6,000.000, Dr. Mudryj announced in the Diet that the Ukrainian Group was introducing a Bill demanding the right of self-government. Government speakers replied that Poles and Ukrainians had lived together for 1000 years. The Ukrainians had fared better under Polish rule than elsewhere.
