Though the figures for deaths and marriages for the month of November remained about the same as for the same period of last year, there was a marked decrease in the number of births, the figures being 35 fewer than those for November, 1937. Following are details for November, 1938, and November, 1937, respectively:— Births, 119, 154; deaths, 100, 94; marriages, 83, 89.
