RICHARDS BEATS SABATINO TECHNICAL KNOCK-OUT IUPA-Uy Electric Telegraph-OooyrtKtitl SYDNEY, 29th November. Ron Richards (11.11) won his return fight with Atilio Sabatino (11.0) in the Sydney sports arena to-night by a technical knock-out in the tenth round. A vast crowd witnessed a stirring contest which was fast and even, both men taking severe punishment. Richards never fought better, using both hands to his opponent’s head and body Sabatino, whose eye was damaged, was compelled to dance round the ring to escape the onslaught, but he himself became the aggressor during the fifth to the eighth round when he looked like winning, but Richards staged a thrilling come-back in the ninth and tenth rounds.
