‘WHISPERING SMITH SPEAKS

A red-blooded, action-filled story of railroading stars O’Brien, with Frank Sheridan as his father, Irene Ware as his leading lady, and Kenneth Thomson as his rival. O’Brien leaves the office of his blustering father, a railroad magnate, to learn something about steel rails himself. The young man works his way about the country. Finding a dilapidated old railroad with lovely Irene Ware in charge, O'Brien decides to wait around for developments. Although he only fills the position of a lowly track-walker, O’Brien is making more headway with Miss Ware than his smooth rival, Kenneth Thomson. Finally O’Brien uncovers a conspiracy to defraud Miss Ware of valuable orebearing lands in which his own father is involved.
