MOTUEKA HIGH SCHOOL DEFEAT COLLEGE 4th lFroin Our Own Correspondent! The annual cricket fixture between Motueka High School and College was played at the Cricket Ground, Motueka. yesterday, when the home team defeated College 4th grade team by an innings and 92 runs. College batted first and were dismissed at the hands of N. Trewavas and F. Hobson for the small score of 19. Horner with 7 to his credit headed the list. School in their innings netted 178, of which total K. Leigh contributed 42, A. Goodyer 34, and N. Trewavas not out 20. On resuming College registered 67 runs; Pearce with 18 being the only batsman to «. btain double figures. Particulars of play are as follows: College, Ist innings:—B.
