Three thousand donations, representing £42.000, have been received at the London house of Baron Rothschild in response to a non-sectarian appeal for Jewish refugees issued by leaders of the British Jewry on 18th November. Earl Baldwin will broadcast on Bth December for the churches to appeal for £50.000 for the relief of non-Aryan Christian refugees from Germany. A collection is being made in all churches on 11th December.
