£lO TOWARDS GUARANTEE FUND ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE SPORT The Nelson Trotting Club has commended the efforts being made in Christchurch lor the bringing from j America of the world trotting record holder Greyhound, for the purpose of meeting Lawn Derby, and the best trotters in New Zealand. The Nelson Club considers the visit of Greyhound to the Dominion would do much in encouraging the sport, and this morning the club forwarded £lO to the committee formed at last night's meeting of those interested in the proposal.
