Cross, arrived by the Westralia to-day on a revisit to New Zealand alter sotne years. Mr K. I Cross won the singles bowling championship of England in August, but does not want it thojght that it is because of that that he is out here again They are on a holiday Intended to extend over several months, and fathei and son hope to run round, as on their previous stay, playing bowls. Mr K 1 Cross also hopes to take part in Ihe New Zealand bowling tournament, though he did not come out expressly for that purpose. Mr Cross, s. u\. is president of the Hampshire County Bowling Association, and with his son won the Eastbourne open pairs tourney Mr Cross, jnr.. who is now 27. is the second youngest player ever to have won the English title. It was won by Webber in 1925 at the age of 25.
