MR H. ATMORE’S MAJORITY INCREASED BY 20 LARGE PERCENTAGE OF VOTES CAST The final count of votes in the Nelson electorate has been completed, Mr H. Atmore’s majority being increased by 20. The returns are:— *H. Atmore 6092 J. R. Kerr 5206 Informal 46 Majority for Atmore ... 886 Of a total of 12.003 electors on the roll, 11,344 voted, as well as some absentees which were disallowed. This is an unusually high percentage of votes. After a careful investigation the Returning Officer. Mr A. L.
