LARGE CONTINGENT FOR OVERSEAS TROOPSHIP'S FULL COMPLEMENT [British Official Wirelessl RUGBY, 24th October. The largest contingent of officers of the Royal Air Force ever to be sent overseas on one ship as part of the ordinary trooping progress programme leaves Southampton to-morrow in the transport Nevasa. Air Force personnel travelling in the Nevasa will number approximately 1000, many accompanied by their families, thus making the full complement for the troopship. The contingent will be dis. persed among units in Iraq, India, Aden, Khartoum and Malta. R.A.F. RECORD FLIGHT ATTEMPT (British Official Wireless] LONDON, 25th October. The four R.A.F. Vickers Wellesley bombers, which are to attempt a nonstop flight record from Egypt to Australia, have arrived at Ismailia.
