DROWNED IN RIVER
fUnited Press Association! GREYMOUTH 1 , 25th October. Leo Patrick Southorn, a single man, aged 25, of Ruru, left his parents’ home at Ruru on Friday evening with the intention of visiting Te Kinga. Next morning a youth, Victor Hill, while fishing from the Crooked River bridge, caught his body in his line and brought it to the surface.
