CAR AMBUSHED BY BANDITS SON OF LEADING LAWYER KILLED TERRORISM IN PALESTINE [U.P.A.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] (Received Bth September, 9.15 a.m.) JERUSALEM, 7th September. Despite a bodyguard, bandits ambushed to-day, between Haifa and Tel Aviv, a car containing a well-known; business man, Mr Yechiel, brother of j the Zionist leader, Dr Chaim Weiz- J mann, puncturing the tyres with bullets and causing the car to overturn. \ The bandits then riddled it with j bullets, killing the son of a leading | lawyer and wounding all the other occupants. Bandits in ambush fired on a cartful of workers going home from Nessziona to-day, killing a newly-arrived migrant and seriously wounding two other Jews and a girl. Two British soldiers were killed and four seriously injured in a land-mine explosion under a military truck near the Syrian frontier to-day. The Manchester Regiment engaged large forces of Arabs north of Acre, bombing planes participating.
