DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB
FINAL SHOOT OF SEASON , The Motueka Defence Rifle Club-fired ’ its final shoot for the season on Saturday. This shoot was also the final for the Redmond medal. The conditions were two shoots of 10 shots, the first at 300 and 500 yards, the second at 500 ancl 600 yards. Some very fine individual scores were put up. the most creditable being by a junior member, Rifleman 11. Dredge, who registered 46 and 48 over the 500 yards range. Rifleman H. Dredge, with a total score of 189. won the Redmond medal. Riflemen R. Coleman and D. Gee following. <cach with 138.
