CORONATION ROBES
EXHIBITION IN NELSON NEXT SATURDAY AND SUNDAY The Royal robes of purple and gold , and ermine worn by King George and , Queen Elizabeth and the Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret Rose at the 1 Coronation ceremony at Westminster ’ ; Abbey last year, have now completed the arranged tour of the North Island, and will arrive in Blenheim to-mor--1 row where the South Island tour will I commence. From Blenheim they will 0 be sent to Nelson, arriving here on Friday evening at about 6 o clock. The exhibition in Nelson will be c * held in the Suter Art Gallery and the d i official opening ceremony will take II place on Saturday at 8 pm. Arrange- • ments have been made, however, for n the exhibition to be open to school o children only (and to those in charge c of them or of their conveyances), from •f 2 p.m. on Saturday. The hours of 2-6 o p.m. will be reserved for primary i- j school children; and from 6-7-45 p.m. '\ for secondary school pupils. n The exhibition will be open to the r general public from C-10 p.m. on Satt, , urday. and from 10 a m. to 5 p.m. on n Sunday
