FUTURE ACTIVITIES OF DEPARTMENT IN NELSON ; In connection with the Government i Housing Scheme, Mr H. Atmore, M.F. ; wrote recently to Mr J. A. Lee. Parliamentary Under-Secretary, asking about the future activities of the department in Nelson in view of the shortage of houses still existing. Mr Lee replied that contracts for building new houses in Nelson would follow contracts until the housing shortage was overtaken.
