AWAITING HITLER’S ARRIVAL PRECAUTIONS FOR PROTECTION (Received 3rd May, 9 a.m.) ROME, Ist May. Rome is in a blaze of glory awaiting Herr Hitler’s arrival. The city has not known such a studied display of pomp or more feverish precautions to protect the visitor. Everything the ingenuity of tha Italian and German secret police could devise has been done to safeguard tha Fuhrer during his 1000-mile train journey.
