EMPIRE EXHIBITION
KING AND QUEEN GOING TO GLASGOW INTENSE INTEREST AROUSED IBritish Official Wireless! (Received 3rd May, 10.8 a.m.) RUGBY, 2nd May. Their Majesties will leave Euston Station shortly before midnight by the Royal train for Glasgow for to-mor-row’s opening of the Empire Exhibition. Intense interest has been aroused in Scotland over the Royal visit, and state pageantry will mark Their Mapesties’ drive through the city to the Exhibition grounds. Four of the famous Windsor grey horses will draw the Royal landau, and they, with postilions and outriders, have already arrived.
