PATRIC KNOWLES Patric Knowles changed his name I from Reginald Lawrence Knowles just | > because he liked it better. He is Brit-11 ish, born 11th November. 1911 in York-) shire, England. In his younger days he played in stock company’s touring England and Ireland. Played with the famous Abbey Players, the Irish Repertory company and the Croydon, Leicester, and Oxford Repertory companies in England. Appeared in about 20 pictures produced in England—a Warner Bros, scout saw him and he was transported to England. Goes in for sport in a big way—plays cricket, football, tennis, enjoys swimming, rowing, boxing. Was something of a runner in his school days. Is married to Enid Percfval, formerly of the London stage. He has hazel eyes, brown hair, is 6ft 2in tall, and weighs 174 pounds. Knowles is under contract to Warner | Bros. Pictures and his productions in- I | elude “Sweet Aloes.” "The Charge of \ the Light Brigade,” and "Prince and the Pauper.” His next for Warner’s is “It’s Love I’m After”, a brilliant comedy in which Leslie Howard, Bette Davis and Olivia de Havilland are co- ■ starred.
