SUGGESTED DONATION TO FUNDS P. & T. EMPLOYEES TO HOLD BALLOT [By Telegraph—Press Association! HASTINGS, 29th March. The Labour Party may shortly benefit by a donation of £IOOO from the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Employees’ Association. The question of making the gift will be decided by ballot among association members, of whom there are about 10.000 throughout the Dominion. Rumours that a ballot to consider the donation would be held were confirmed by the vice-president of the association Mr T. Falconer, at Hastings. "The question of a donation of £IOOO to the general funds of the Labour Party will be the subject of a ballot at a comparatively early date,” Mr Falconer stated It is understood that every member of the asscociation will be asked to vote simply “Yes’ or "No.”
