WANGANUI, This Da;
The partial derailment of a petrol WftgpMl attached to a goods train from Marlon and New Plymouth at exactly the spot where the excursion train engine left the rails on Saturday caused an hour and a half daisy to rail traffic on the Wanganui section at 4.15 a m. to-day. The two front wheels of the truck only were derailed. No damage was caused to the waggon, but the regulations provide that whenever a derailment occurs the rolling *tock involved must be left at the nearest station for examination. The truck was accordingly left at Wangaehu. At the time of the mishap the train was travelling dead slow at five miles per hour. While the truck was being righted the line was temporarily blocked. and passengers for the express at Marton were transhipped at Turakma.
