The Federal Department of the P.T.T. has given its agreement to the issuing of a special postage stamp book to commemorate the event. Any desired information will readily be given by the committee of organisation of the “National Postage Stamp Exhibition ot Aarau.” Old Boys Concerned The possible effect of the Education Amendment Bill on the traditions and individuality of high schools has been causing concern to old boys’ associations in New» Zealand, and the subject will probably come before the New Plymouth Old Boys’ Association shortly (says the "Daily News”). There is said to be a possibility of concerted action by the old boys of the more important schools to place their views before the Minister of Education, the Hon. P. Fraser, before any changes in the system of controlling secondary schools are made.
