The basic ...rates fixed under the New Zealand guaranteed price scheme, subject to quality differentials, are 123 s t»d for butter, and 70s 41d for cheese per cwt., f.0.b.. New Zealand currency. The equivalent landed price for butter In London is 112 s and for cheese 675. The guaranteed price for butter is equal to 13.25 d per lb. f. 0.0., and the current London quotation is equal to 13.54 d. New Zealand ports. The equivalent price for cheese is around 7.81 d per ib. f.0.b., compared with the guaranteed price cl 7.54 d. Deliveries of New Zealand butter last week amounted to 2360 tons. The quantity in store, including 2068 lons ex Port Campbell and Matakana. was 5134 tons, as against 5043 tons a year ago. Deliveries of Australian butter last week were 2046 tons, and quantity in store being 3643 tons, as against 4420 tons a year ago. The cheese market was easier, but showed some ! mprovement at the end of the week. Closcing quotations, with those for the previous week in parentheses, were as follows: New Zealand: White and coloured. 68s 6d to 60s Cd C 0s a year ago. 63s to 63s 6d). Australian: White, 66s to 68s (67s to 695). Canadian: White. 76s to 78s (76s to 795); coloured, 77s to 78 (77s to 78s>. English: Finest farmers, 96s to 98s (96s to 98s). Deliveries of New Zealand cheese last week were 15.885 crates. The quantity in store, including 1300 crates ex Port Jackson, was 59,615 crates, as against 74,464 crates a year ago. Deliveries of Canadian cheese last week were 4362 boxes, the quantity in store being 76.515 boxes, as against 77.593 boxes a year ago
