VICTORY V. HOSPITAL HOLLAND AGAIN SUCCESSFUL WITH BAT AND BALL Victory met and defeated Hospital at Stoke on Saturday on the first innings. The Victory bowlers proved too good for the batsmen and after a slow innings Hospr.al were all out for 86. Holland finish-, f with six wickets, and Reid and Hugh wo each. For Vic . J. Reid. Campbell and Mayers los. heir wickets while 40 was being raiseci. Then F. Reid and Holland got the necessary runs and retired. The rest went in and had a hit. The side totalled 111 for nine wickets, Holland 84 retired, F. Reid 11 being most successful. Bowling for Victory Holland took six wickets for 31 runs, F. Reid two for 24. Hughes two for 7. Batting for Hospital. McMurray 19. Winnie 12 and extras 20, helped the score along. Bowling: McMurray took two wickets for 20 runs. Winnie two for 24, Jillelt one for 0, Sherlock one for 14. The Hospital team were thanked for their sporting game and also for the refreshments, which were thoroughly enjoyed.
