Clearing the line: A picture taken on Sunday showing the final steps in clearing the haltered engine and tender tram the cutting near Ratana. The tender has just been lifted by the 4 0-ton crane and placed back on the rails, whence it was towed to a siding. The locomotive was then lifted by two such cranes and replaced on the rails.
