TROTTING CHAMPIONSHIPS
SEVEN AUSTRALIAN ACCEPTORS CHRISTCHURCH. 28th March, j Seven Australian horses have accept- ' ed for the Inter-Dofninion Trotting Championships and it is likely that further additions will be made with the arrival of the Australian mail at Christchurch on Wednesday. The horses are entered for all three qualifying events and the grand final. They are Joy's John, scr.. Kernel Lu. scr.. Our Walla, scr.. Picador, scr.. Dan's Son. 12yds bhd. Kolect. 12yds bhd. and Lady Chilclewood. 12yds bhd. The Inter-Dominion Trotting Championship Committee decided' to-night to run each championship qualifying event in three heats instead of four as recently announced. An additional handicap race will be placed on each day's programme in place of the fourth heat.
