BOWLING
THE EASTER TOURNAMENT A larger entry than last year has been received for the Nelson Easter bowling tournament. The entries from outside the Nelson district last year were 10. and these have been increased to 15, and include: Greymouth 2 rinks. Millerton 3. Granity R.S.A. 2. Westport 2, Runanga, Carterton, Wellington, Shirley, Canterbury. Opawa. The entries from the Nelson district dubs are: Nelson 10, Maitai 3, Wakefield 1, Mapua 1. Motueka 1. A number of further local entries have yet to come in. ROTARIANS AT BOWLS Members of the Nelson Rotary Club will be allotted several rinks at the Nelson bowling green on Saturday next There are quite a number of bowlers in the Rotary Club, and the idea is to bring some of the other member* into the bowling arena in a friendly game They will be the guests of the president of the Nelson Club.
