OLD BOVS DEFEAT ATHLETIC Old Boys defeated Athletic at Tratalgar Park by 49 runs on the first innings. In Athletic s first innings McGuire bowled very well for Old Boys, taking five wickets lor 28 runs, including the ‘hat trick.' Scores:— Old Boys', first innings 147 (Harman 42. Clarke 32, Cronin 21, Griffiths lu. Chapman 15, Pyne 26 not out). Bowling for Athletic, Mcßride took three wickets for 67 runs, Bryant tuo for 48, Bray four for 20. Old Boys , second innings, 128 for six wickets declared (Green 33, Lusty 28 Griffiths 12. Mabin 11 not out). Bowling for Athletic: Sannazzaro took three wickets for 21 runs.
