LATE FOR LUNCHEON

LORD GALWAY AT CANBERRA [United Press Association—B.v Electric Telegraph—Copyright] (Received 10th February, 12.5 p.m.) CANBERRA, This Day. Yesterday’s official luncheon at Parliament House was delayed because of a mishap to the aeroplane in which Lord Galway, Governor-General of New Zealand, was flying from Sydney to Canberra. Just before the plane took off it was found that trouble had developed with the brakes. After a hasty examination Lord Galway was transferred to another plane, and he arrived at Canberra shortly after schedule time.
